I found Bronte’s classes to be very educational and well structured. I learned so much not only as someone who works in the wedding industry, but as a person.

It helped me gain a greater understanding on how to better communicate with the LGBTI community and make them comfortable when dealing with us.

Since when I started working on the digital marketing for Bronte’s GayCelebrant.Melbourne website, I have been greatly benefited by The Equality Network course and it’s handbook. It helped me better understand the nuances of LGBTIQA+ community to design marketing campaigns and ads accordingly. I still actively refer to the handbook and have been privileged to learn about it first hand from Bronte Price

Bronte Price created an informative and interesting seminar on the life-changing legalisation of same-sex marriages and assisted me to gain a better understanding of the issues facing same-sex couples to enable me to provide a better service to the LGBTQI community.

As a supporter and ally of the LGBTQI+ community, it is important to me that I am genuinely inclusive and supportive, which is why I enrolled in The Equality Network Masterclass. Bronte provided a safe learning environment to broaden my knowledge and understanding of important issues for the community, and this was enhanced by being part of a small group of like-minded people and hearing Bronte share his personal stories and experiences. I particularly valued learning more about the history of the fight for civil rights. This encouraged me to become better informed about the impacts of those actions, leading to an appreciation of the ongoing issues in our society today and how I can be more supportive. This Masterclass is for those who truly appreciate and value equality and for those who want to hear the stories and voices that matter most – those of the LGBTQI+ community.

In my role as a Migration Agent I help a lot of gay couples migrate to Australia so I attended the Equality Network LGBTIQA+ Inclusivity course. I learned a lot about appropriate language vs inappropriate language as well as other things that might be considered offensive. Bronte Price does a great job at presenting this course in an interesting and entertaining way. I recommend this course to anyone.

I attended The Equality Network’s LGBTIQA+ Inclusivity Training run by Bronte Price almost two years ago. What I learnt in this course, and the impact it had on me, has changed the way I do my daily business. Yes, I thought I already knew what I needed to know, and yes, I figured I’d learn a bit extra to help me with my work.

But what I learnt was a greater understanding of the history of the LGBTIQA+ community, a greater understanding of the prejudice and experience of people which has led to life-limiting thoughts and experiences for so many people. I learnt empathy, passion, love and understanding – qualities that have impacted me, and made me a better person.
